We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at North Chapel Hill Surgery Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our facility.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, perform surgical procedures, and provide post-operative care to patients.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operating room setting, with a strong background in surgical nursing.
- ACLS certification and BLS required upon hire.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.
