Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center - Burbank. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials and the operation of nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers, to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Current certification in BLS, ARRT, or NMTCB
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

This is a travel position, and you will be required to float between the OP center and Hospital. You will not be required to work on-call. The facility is an Acute Care Hospital with 392 total staffed beds. Parking is free.
