Position Overview:

The Contract-to-Hire Manufacturing Associate - Upstream Cell Culture Specialist will be responsible for manufacturing commercial cell therapy products following batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role will involve performing upstream Cell Culture activities in an Aseptic environment, working as part of a team to execute GMP runs, and collaborating with Materials, QC, and QA groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture commercial cell therapy products following batch records and SOPs.
  • Perform upstream Cell Culture activities in an Aseptic environment.
  • Work as part of a team to execute GMP runs, collaborating with Materials, QC, and QA groups.
  • Perform set-up, operation, cleaning, basic maintenance, and break down of equipment according to SOPs.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment that will require a gowning process.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of Biotech Manufacturing experience.
  • Recent experience performing upstream manufacturing activities.
  • Aseptic technique and Cell Culture in combination with cell culture equipment experience.
  • Prior experience adhering to SOPs and GMP regulations is required.
  • Bioreactor experience is preferred.
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Cell Therapy experience is a huge plus.
