About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Consultant to join our team at the Steel Erectors Association. As a Safety Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our members and their employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Facilitate employee and supervisory OSHA compliance training to ensure our members are aware of their responsibilities and obligations.
  • Work independently to provide on-site Health and Safety support to our members, including conducting site visits and providing guidance on safety protocols.
  • Communicate with clients and people of varying levels of professionalism, education, etc. to ensure effective collaboration and understanding.
  • Understand our members' needs and build relationships to provide tailored safety solutions.
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Analyze injury data and produce meaningful reports and recommendations to inform safety strategies.
  • Plan and organize service requests to meet target dates and production goals.
Requirements
  • Education and/or Experience: OSHA10, OSHA30
  • 3-5 years of related experience in the field of Safety and Loss Control preferred
  • Computer Skills: Must be competent and proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Attend pertinent and productive safety seminars and/or safety courses that expand on current knowledge.
  • Perform with a professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
