CareConnect is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of home health aides and personal care assistants in the Bronx area. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Job Summary:

  • Provide high-quality care to patients in their homes, promoting their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support patients with mobility issues, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
  • Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old
