Claims Operations Group Manager - Casualty

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing Claims Teams or specialized functions within the Claims business unit, ensuring all claims meet or exceed quality and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve claims quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams to achieve quality and regulatory goals.
  • Provide opportunities for professional growth and expand staff responsibilities to enhance team performance.
  • Communicate corporate, unit, and team goals with direct reports, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Prepare reports and statistical data on behalf of the department, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 4 Year college degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Obtainment of industry-related designations (CPCU, SCLA, AIC) and participation in management-related course study.
  • Successful assignment as a team manager in a variety of roles, demonstrating leadership and management skills.

  • Advanced organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to effectively lead change and implement process improvements, driving business results and growth.
