Role Overview

We are seeking a Preschool Teacher Leader to join our team at Little Steps Infant and Childcare Center. This individual will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging educational activities for preschool-aged children, promoting their intellectual and creative growth in a safe and supportive environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in childcare or teaching, with a passion for working with children. They will be responsible for creating a fun and stimulating learning environment, developing schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime.

  • Instruct preschool-aged children in age-appropriate activities designed to promote cognitive development and creativity.
  • Establish positive relationships with students and parents through effective communication and regular updates on progress.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment for all students, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in childcare or teaching (minimum 2 years).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and parents.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Possess a patient and positive demeanor, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education.

Compensation Package: We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
