  • Inspection Representation: Represents the company during health and safety inspections and provides guidance to facility personnel.
  • Audits and Inspections: Conducts routine EHS audits and inspections to verify compliance and address deficiencies.
  • Corrective Action Tracking: Develops and monitors corrective actions identified through audits and inspections.
  • Safety Team Coordination: Coordinates and manages standard work for safety teams and coordinators.
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to the NA Director of EHS and collaborates with the OSI US EHS Team.
  • Management Systems Experience: Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems is advantageous.
  • Security Management: Oversees security personnel through contracts or direct hires.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in safety and environmental roles within a manufacturing context.
  • Preferred certifications: ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM, CSHM.
  • Knowledge of safety compliance regulations and their impact on manufacturing operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for influencing stakeholders.
  • Work performed in both office and plant environments, with potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed.
