Salary Information

The salary for this position is competitive and based on an 8-hour shift schedule with 40 hours per week. Tax-free stipend amounts will be determined based on individual circumstances. The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $95,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a CT technologist, you'll play a vital role in helping patients receive accurate diagnoses through computerized tomography imaging. Working in a hospital or other healthcare facility, you'll be responsible for preparing patients for scans, operating CT equipment, processing images for radiologists and physicians, and maintaining patient records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate CT equipment efficiently and accurately, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Process images for radiologists and physicians, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain patient records, adhering to HIPAA standards and organizational policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of post-clinical work experience as a CT technologist.
  • ARRT certification, demonstrating expertise in radiation protection and imaging techniques.
  • BLS certification (AHA), ensuring your ability to respond to medical emergencies.
  • Current state license, where applicable, reflecting your commitment to upholding professional standards.
