Job Summary

The Service Advisor at Bert Ogden Auto Group is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling additional needed service to customers. This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, a general knowledge of mechanical operations, and sales experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem and advise them on the care of their cars.
  • Explain additional work needed, including cost and time considerations, and follow up on repair orders during the day.
  • Handle telephone inquiries, appointments, and return phone calls promptly, and deliver vehicles to customers.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience and build trust with customers.

Requirements

  • Valid Texas Driver's license with an acceptable and safe driving record.
  • 21 years old or older.
  • Pass a drug test screening.
  • Pass a background check screening.
