Job Summary:

We are opening a brand-new-state-of-the-art health care facility in Alexandria, VA, and we need a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our imaging services.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies/procedures to ensure the safety of patients.
  • Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Provide clinical services according to specialized ultrasound practice standards and act as a resource to students, nurses, fellows, and other technologists.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • ARDMS, CCI or ARRT registered with at least two sonographer specialties.
  • One year of experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of Specialized Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
