Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • 1 year of experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium-to-high acuity setting is preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and other advanced nursing practices
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized care for patients with medium-to-high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips, and other key indicators
  • Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring accurate and prompt execution of medical orders
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on managing acute or chronic conditions, including proper equipment use like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
  • Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,920 to $117,990 per year, based on location and job requirements.
