Mentor and support individuals with disabilities by helping them explore the wonders of the great outdoors. This role provides leadership experience that will elevate your game for the rest of your life - at home, in school, and in your career.
This is a year-round position, part-time from September through April, and full-time from May through August.
Responsibilities- Coordinate behind-the-scenes functions to ensure the smooth operation of the camp, including laundry, trash removal, cleaning bathrooms and windows, dusting, sweeping, mopping, supply restocking, and maintaining assigned areas of the camp.
- Communicate relevant information to supervisors in a professional and timely manner, including equipment, supply inventory, schedule changes, or inability to fully complete assigned tasks, and accidents/injuries (including paperwork and documentation).
- Maintain the security of buildings, vehicles, and grounds.
- Operate power-driven, electro-mechanical, and hand-driven equipment to maintain buildings and grounds.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that is acceptable and meets the requirements of the agency's insurance carrier.
- Must meet the State's Moral Character standard.
- Basic understanding of cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and laundry.
