Federally Qualified Health Center - Loan Repayment Opportunities Available

COMPENSATION: Starting salary of $102,000

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Family Medicine Schedule: 1 (4-hour), 3 (8-hour), and 1 (12-hour) shifts
  • Walk-In Care: 4 (10-hour) shifts
  • One Saturday each month (8am-12pm)

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Physician Assistant delivers essential primary care services to both pediatric and adult populations as part of a collaborative healthcare team, working alongside licensed MD/DO physicians. Care may be administered across various programs or locations. The Physician Assistant will engage in collaboration and consultation with patients, families, support personnel, other Advanced Practice Providers, OBGYN specialists, and both internal and external consultants to ensure a high standard of care. This role reports directly to the Family Medicine Department Chair.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • New graduates and experienced Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduation (or imminent graduation) from an accredited Physician Assistant Program in the United States; new graduates must successfully pass the licensing examination
  • Unrestricted Illinois Physician Assistant license, Illinois Controlled Substance License, Federal DEA registration, and Illinois PA license
  • Current CPR Certification (responsible for maintaining certification)
  • Pediatric experience is preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
