Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate those risks.
  • Safety Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that the workplace complies with relevant safety regulations and standards, and safeguard consumers, visitors, employees, and property from harm, abuse, trespass, fire, theft, and other hazards.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, and conduct drills to ensure that employees are prepared to respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Safety Communication: Facilitate communication between management and employees regarding safety issues, initiatives, and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving safety performance and implement changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalency
  • Experience: 1 year of security experience
  • Certifications: Act 33/34/73 (Child, Criminal and Department of Human Services FBI) and Pre-employment Drug Screen
