Role Summary:
We are in search of experienced wastewater engineers to contribute to our expanding portfolio of projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in various stages of wastewater project development, from initial planning and feasibility assessments to design, construction, and ongoing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and guide projects, leveraging technical expertise to enhance the capabilities of the project team.
2. Manage the full project lifecycle for wastewater conveyance systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
3. Develop comprehensive construction documents and specifications, providing engineering support throughout the construction phase.
4. Ensure adherence to established budgets and timelines for all assignments.
5. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
6. Create and manage detailed planning and design projects from conception to completion.
7. Prepare complete construction packages for clients, including all necessary deliverables.
8. Conduct detailed engineering calculations and analyses, utilizing advanced design software to address complex challenges.
9. Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of municipal wastewater systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Familiarity with process design, treatment plant upgrades, and pump station design.
Client Engagement Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to develop proposals and manage client relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and a knack for technical problem-solving.
- Commitment to professional development and the ability to mentor junior staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
