Mathematics Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Lame Deer Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging mathematics lessons for students in grades 7-12.

• Develop and administer mathematics curriculum aligned with school district goals and objectives.
• Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters individualized and small group instruction.
• Design and deliver lesson plans that demonstrate the application of mathematics to everyday life and problem-solving.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student learning and progress, and modify instructional methods to meet individual needs.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of student activities, achievement, and attendance.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

• State certification as a Mathematics Education Teacher.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.

The Mathematics Teacher will work in a standard office and school building environment. The position requires the ability to engage in self-evaluation and professional growth, as well as establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues and students.
