Job Title: Interventional Radiographer Tech
HCA Florida Capital Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in the region, and we are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiographer Tech to join our team.
About the Role:
- Under general supervision, the Interventional Radiographer Technologist will work closely with the Interventional Radiologist, nurses, and other staff members to ensure a safe outcome for patients.
- Perform imaging procedures using standardized protocols, producing high-quality images for interpretation by the Radiologist.
- Assist the Radiologist with IR procedures, including the administration of contrast media, procedure/room setup, and assist with biopsies/drainages.
- Responsible for the maintenance and preventative maintenance of the IR room, including ordering and maintaining supplies and monitoring expiration dates.
- Assure that charge reconciliation has been performed daily and that radiologist protocols are maintained and current at all times.
Requirements:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- ACLS-American Heart Associate ACLS or American Red Cross Provider issued care required.
- State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R).
- ARRT registry in Interventional Radiology must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Associate Degree in Radiological Technology required.
