Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Baylor RNs and LPNs to join our team on weekends.

As a weekend nurse, you will work 12-hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday, earning 32 hours of pay for your 24-hour shift. Our benefit package is also available at the 32-hour level.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, including administering medications and treatments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behavior.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident medical records.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to residents and their families.
  • Administer medications and treatments in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to plan shift organization and job assignments.
  • Maintain unit stock and inform supervisors of equipment and supply needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in nursing or long-term care is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to build rapport with residents and their families is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills are required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
  • A current, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of New Hampshire is required, along with current CPR certification.
