Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Stem Cell Transplant Infusion Clinic

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Oakton, Virginia.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and education. As a Registered Nurse in our Stem Cell Transplant Infusion Clinic, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing stem cell transplants.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify needs, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
  • Act as a clinical resource and mentor to colleagues, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in inpatient or outpatient hematology/oncology nursing, with a focus on infusion therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning, with a desire to stay current with the latest developments in hematology/oncology nursing.
