Job Description

Your Role: As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver professional, clinical services that meet the highest standards of patient care.
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of Methodist Health System.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience (includes residency training).
  • Current license as a Registered Pharmacist by the state of Texas required.
  • ACPE Accredited Sterile Compounding Certification.
  • Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardio Life Support, and NRP.
  • Residency training or equivalent experience.
  • NIHSS (within 60 days of hire date).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (within six months of hire date).
  • MDMC Pharmacy Department Training Module (within 6 weeks of hire date).
  • Enrollment into ASHP-Accredited Residency Program Tracking and Evaluation Program.
  • MDMC Pharmacy Department Training Module (within 1 year of hire date).
