We are seeking a skilled Coax Splicer to join our team at Texstar Enterprises, LLC. As a Coax Splicer, you will be responsible for performing duties as part of the construction of telecommunications infrastructure to ensure scope of work is within standards required by our customer.
Key Responsibilities- Climb utility poles and operate a 28-foot ladder safely and efficiently.
- Interpret prints in underground and aerial environments to ensure accurate installation of telecommunications equipment.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production and quality standards.
- Perform daily maintenance of provided vehicle and equipment.
- Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation.
- Field train and control/oversee the work of other Splicers when necessary.
- Complete daily production reports, mark-up maps, and track daily production.
- Reconcile all issued parts and materials daily to ensure accurate material usage counts.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to read and build from blueprints and/or wire diagrams.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Knowledge of installation of equipment such as nodes, amplifiers, and passives.
- Knowledge of RF, forward, and return signal.
- Detail-oriented and proficient with paperwork.
- Certified pole climber or capable of demonstrating proficiency as a pole climber.
