We're actively seeking an AVP & Assistant General Counsel to join our Office of the General Counsel in Newport Beach, CA.

This role is on-site with a hybrid work mode, offering the flexibility to work from our state-of-the-art headquarters or remotely. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising Pacific Life Investments' private placement, project finance, and private debt teams.

  • Analyze and advise on complex financial transactions to support business growth and operations.

  • Negotiate and draft a broad range of investment-related agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including credit analysts and investment operations, on all aspects of transaction execution.

  • Provide general corporate and regulatory advice to support Pacific Life Investments' business and operations.

  • Advise on finance and liquidity transactions, including credit facilities, debt issuances, repos, commercial paper, securities lending, intercompany funding, banking matters, and day-to-day Treasury needs.
