About the Role

Urban Pathways is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a healthy and productive environment for our staff and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and clean the building, including floors, walls, and equipment, to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, changing light bulbs, and making minor repairs.
  • Assess maintenance needs and coordinate with the Director of Operations to develop a preventative maintenance plan.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in building maintenance and janitorial duties or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with homeless populations, individuals with mental illness, and substance abuse preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred.
  • OSHA license a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required within 3 months of hire.
  • AED certification preferred.
