Key Responsibilities

As an ERP Application Analyst, you will leverage your technical knowledge and user insights to enhance the ERP system for your colleagues. Your role will be crucial in providing continuous support for the ERP and associated applications, ensuring they adapt to the evolving demands of the organization.

  • Engage with management and users to ascertain current and future operational workflows and requirements, clarifying system goals for projects of varying complexity.
  • Assess, analyze, and adjust application settings to meet shifting business needs.
  • Develop and implement testing scripts and scenarios.
  • Identify existing operational workflows, clarify objectives, interpret and assess organizational needs, and formulate functional and technical specifications across departments.
  • Deliver daily functional support for the ERP and related application systems, including analysis and configuration tasks.
  • Adhere to and apply industry-standard business analysis methodologies, enhancing business process methodologies, including requirements gathering, use case development, process mapping, and test plan creation.
  • Collaborate with end-users to validate functional processes and system workflows.
  • Produce comprehensive functional specification documents and transfer knowledge to IT development and support teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, management information systems, or computer science.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in a business analyst capacity, including requirement gathering, analysis, application design, testing, and supporting enterprise-level ERP systems in key functional areas such as finance, order management, procurement, production planning, or supply chain management.
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and present findings to management in clear, non-technical language.
  • Experience with integrated systems in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong logical, critical, and constructive thinking skills to address complex issues, effectively communicate analysis results, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-management skills.
  • Proven capability to analyze, optimize, and document intricate business processes.
  • Provide day-to-day and on-call second-tier end-user application support as needed.
  • Experience with IFS ERP and Crystal Reports is preferred.

Work Environment
