Job Title: Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Special Procedures Tech to join our team at Midland Health.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for practicing technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts, using equipment and accessories consistent with the purposes for which they were designed, and employing procedures and techniques appropriately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess situations; exercise care, discretion, and judgment; assume responsibility for professional decisions; and act in the best interest of the patient.
  • Act as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
  • Use equipment and accessories, employ techniques and procedures, perform services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Current State of Texas License as a Radiology Technologist.
  • ARRT registered.
  • 2 years of experience as a diagnostic technologist.
  • 2 years of IR experience is a MUST.
