Job Summary

We are seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Adjunct Faculty in Screenwriting at DePaul University's Jarvis College of Computing & Digital Media. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to teach courses in screenwriting, scripted television writing, unscripted television writing, web series writing, video game writing, and sketch and comedy writing.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in screenwriting and related disciplines
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of diverse students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in screenwriting or a related field
  • 18 semester/27 quarter hours of graduate work in screenwriting or a related field
  • Undergraduate degree with a minimum of five years demonstrated relevant professional experience
  • Preferred qualifications: MFA in screenwriting, professional produced credits, significant festival screenings, and/or screenwriting contest successes
