About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at ProHealth Care. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Function as the scrub person, working under the direct supervision of an RN or physician to facilitate safe and effective care during invasive and operative procedures.
  • Ensure that the operating room is safe, equipment is functioning properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
  • Facilitate a physician's performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Demonstrate understanding and rationale of all procedures performed within the designated specialty.
  • Identify functional safety needs for the individual patient or customer and take appropriate action.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technologist program.
  • CST preferred or equivalent military training program.
  • AST membership preferred.
  • Minimum License BLS (CPR); or ability to obtain upon hire.
