ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Caregiver at Belmont Village, you will deliver essential personal assistance to seniors residing in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role is perfect for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, patient, and possess a genuine passion for engaging with older adults.
YOUR TYPICAL DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Promote social interaction and encourage participation in community activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate any changes in residents' needs to supervisors.
- Adhere to cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
- Provide necessary assistance with personal hygiene and toileting needs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
- Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training in care provision.
- Ability to work the defined schedule, including weekends and holidays.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS
- At least one year of direct care experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing environments.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Self-directed with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Observant, dependable, adaptable, and respectful demeanor.
