About the Role

We are currently in search of a Senior Administrative Partner who will provide support to two of Bridgewater's Investment Leaders - our Head of Research and Chief People & Operations Officer. This role involves liaising with both internal and external stakeholders on their behalf, managing and prioritizing incoming requests, overseeing their commitments and calendars, and ensuring effective organization and coordination across their responsibilities. This position requires a highly organized individual capable of seamlessly managing multiple, often competing, priorities. Given the sensitive nature of the information handled by the team, professionalism, discretion, and exceptional judgment are essential.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating with the Head of Research, Chief People & Operations Officer, and their team to provide comprehensive administrative support, including:
  • Proactively managing and coordinating daily schedules/calendars, contacts, travel arrangements, meetings (both internal and external), conferences, and seminars.
  • Arranging and scheduling numerous meetings; maintaining and updating calendars; assessing the importance of meeting requests and scheduling accordingly; demonstrating flexibility; serving as the first line of defense for a high volume of communications via phone and email.
  • Ensuring excellence in the preparation of complex meetings/events (AV, room scheduling, telepresence events, etc.), including setup and follow-up, preparing presentations/agendas/materials, documenting notes, and coordinating follow-up items to completion, as well as arranging for refreshments.
  • Acting as a gatekeeper for the department heads, serving as the initial point of contact for incoming scheduling and administrative requests.
We are looking for candidates who meet the following minimum qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in providing administrative support to senior management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities/tasks/priorities with minimal errors
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and independently resolve issues
  • Agility in adapting to unexpected changes and rapidly evolving situations
  • A commitment to staying connected
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Physical Requirements:

Bridgewater offers flexible remote work options for most roles, with employees typically required to work on campus at least two days per week, with the possibility of working offsite on other days.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000, inclusive of base salary and discretionary bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80-90% of this range.
