About the Role

At Lilt, we are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our Data Platform team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying, hiring, and building a world-class team of software engineers, researchers, and data analysts to drive the creation of our next-generation data platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, develop, and lead a team of software engineers, researchers, and data analysts to design and implement cutting-edge data solutions.
  • Evolving software development processes to deliver high-quality software, dashboards, and reports on schedule.
  • Partner with stakeholders from Product, Finance, and Operations to understand data requirements and decompose requirements into concrete deliverables.
  • Drive architectural, software quality, operational improvements across the team and the broader organization.
Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned leader with exceptional technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, and scaling new systems, and familiarity with Big Data technology.
