Key Responsibilities- Customer Experience: Create a positive and engaging experience for all customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of Associates to provide excellent customer service, promote loyalty programs, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Training and Development: Take an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles, personalizing the customer experience, and promoting loyalty programs.
- Operational Excellence: Assign registers, support and respond to POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Store Execution: Ensure Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizing as needed and communicating effectively with management and Associates.
- Communication and Feedback: Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, promoting a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness and ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Additional Responsibilities: Promote credit and loyalty programs, support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, and promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Availability: Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Merchandising Knowledge: Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and ability to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Teamwork and Leadership: Team player with ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors, and lead by example to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
