You will be responsible for performing echocardiography studies, utilizing portable echocardiography equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiography studies in various settings, including patients' homes, senior care facilities, and correctional facilities.
• Travel to service locations in a company-supplied vehicle, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for echocardiography studies, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care, including communication with cardiologists, patients, and families.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of work performed, adhering to company protocols and standards.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
• Adult Cardiac Sonographer certification or equivalent experience.
• ARDMS registration in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation or CCI registration with Cardiac Sonographer designation required.
• Two years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and organizing daily assignments effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
