Job Summary:

The Physician - OBGYN Specialist will be responsible for providing medical care to patients in the OBGYN department. This includes performing routine deliveries, repairing 3rd and 4th degree lacerations, and managing low and high-risk pregnancies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to patients in the OBGYN department
  • Perform routine deliveries and repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
  • Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices
Requirements:
  • Board Certified OBGYN (no BE) - Required
  • ACLS - Required
  • Local, drive-in providers - Highly Preferred
  • MI license or IMLC at time of submission - Required, no exceptions
  • Clean Background for quick credentialing - Required
  • COVID vaccination - Required at time of name clear
  • Currently participates in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS - Required
Certification Requirements:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Board Certified
State License Requirements:
  • Michigan
Additional License Requirements:
  • MI CSR
Work Schedule:

24 Hour Call, 7a-7a
