Job Description

This role involves providing client support, case management, and assistance to litigation secretaries and supervising attorneys.

You will be responsible for:

  • Opening files for new clients, compiling sign-up documents, creating online files, initiating communication with insurance companies, and establishing relationships with clients.
  • Supervising client medical treatment, keeping medical records and bills up-to-date, assisting with doctor's appointments, and maintaining constant communication with the client.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met, meeting with clients to complete discovery, obtaining pre-accident medical records, drafting discovery responses for litigation assistants to finalize.
  • Creating deposition binders for supervising attorneys, compiling investigation materials and medical records, and billing accordingly.
  • Drafting and sending demand letters for supervising attorneys.
  • Drafting mediation and CMADRESS briefs, compiling brief exhibits.
  • Assisting litigation secretaries as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Adobe, and a working knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to thrive working independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability for long-term employment.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Bilingualism is strongly preferred.
  • Medical or legal office experience is a plus.
