Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Baptist Health. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to women and their infants before, during, and after birth.

Responsibilities:

Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care to meet their physical, psychological, educational, and spiritual needs.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.

Provide nursing care to women experiencing complications during pregnancy or birth, including cesarean sections and post-pregnancy care.

Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology.

Requirements:

A new RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing, licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas.

BSN preferred. Ability to practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team.

Healthcare CPR required, with some areas requiring ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS training.

This is a 48-hour bi-weekly authorized position.
