Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) Level II or III

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Cynet Health. As a NICU Level II or III RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Job Duration: 13 weeks

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. You will work a 12-hour night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year NICU experience preferred
  • State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the NLC required
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - Required
  • STABLE certification - Preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation and review
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions such as IVs and wound care
  • Promote, advocate, and collaborate to ensure patient health, safety, and rights
  • Provide education and assess readiness and effectiveness for patients and families
  • Deliver relationship-based care respecting patient preferences, values, and needs
  • Delegate duties to non-RN personnel in accordance with nursing and hospital policies
  • Manage resources effectively to provide high-quality, cost-efficient patient care
  • Serve as a professional role model and mentor for staff and nursing students
  • Engage in continuous learning and reflect current best practices
  • Participate in meetings and quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes
  • Use evidence-based practice and research to expand knowledge and role performance
  • Fulfill float requirements within designated areas as needed
