Position Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous and organized Orders Specialist to assist our home health office. The Orders Specialist will be integral in ensuring the efficient functioning of our office by accurately processing orders in a timely manner. This role demands excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and promptly process physician orders in line with company protocols and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to gather essential documentation and clarify orders as necessary.
- Maintain precise records of all orders received and processed.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to guarantee the timely commencement of patient care services.
- Follow up on pending orders and escalate issues as needed to ensure swift resolution.
- Assist with additional administrative duties to support office operations.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or administrative capacity is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
