We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Crane Rigger to join our team at Marmon Holdings, Inc. as a Heavy Lift Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Prepare Rigging Equipment: Conduct thorough inspections of rigging equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and suitable for the task at hand.
- Haul Heavy Materials and Equipment: Safely transport heavy materials and equipment to designated locations, taking into account weight limits and capacity constraints.
- Signal Crane Operator: Provide clear and concise instructions to the crane operator during lifts, ensuring accurate placement and directional control.
- Climb Structures with Safety Harness: Ascend structures with a safety harness to guide and position loads, maintaining a safe working distance from the crane.
- Ensure Rigging Safety: Verify that rigging is safe and reliable before engaging in hoisting and lifting operations, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with NCCER or NCCCO crane rigger certification.
- Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively with others.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift up to 50lbs, with the ability to work in various weather conditions.
