Job Summary:
Mercy is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. You will also provide patient care essential to these procedures and apply principles of MR safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist.
- Provide patient care essential to MRI procedures, including positioning patients and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Apply principles of MR safety to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program.
- Experience: Three plus years of MRI experience.
- Certification/Registration: A.R.R.T. Registered with advanced MR registry ARRT (R)(MR) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Other skills & knowledge: Basic nursing skills.
