We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our Health AI team at Genai Works. As a Research Scientist, you will contribute to the development of safe and effective AI models for healthcare applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement practical and scalable methods to improve the safety and reliability of our models, including reinforcement learning from human feedback, automated red teaming, and scalable oversight.
- Evaluate methods using health-related data to ensure models provide accurate, reliable, and trustworthy information.
- Develop reusable libraries for applying general alignment techniques to our models.
- Proactively identify areas of risk and work with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate methods in core model training and launch safety improvements in our products.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with deep learning research and large language models, especially practical alignment topics such as reinforcement learning from human feedback, automated red teaming, and scalable oversight.
- Hold a Ph.D. or other degree in computer science, AI, machine learning, or a related field.
- Passion for AI safety and improving global health outcomes.
- Experience making practical model improvements for AI model deployment.
- Ability to own problems end-to-end and pick up necessary knowledge to get the job done.
- Strong team player with excellent collaborative skills.
