Job Description:

As a Material Control Specialist, you will be responsible for loading and unloading, packing and unpacking, auditing, general housekeeping, kitting, inbound processing, scanning orders, shipping and receiving, put-a-way, data entry into computerized inventory control systems, and inventory control.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the proper storage and flow of material into and out of the Warehouse, performing inventory stock checks and cycle counting as required, and interfacing with warehouse personnel to measure and ensure inventory accuracy. You will also negotiate and process returns, credits, and advance replacements as needed.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring accuracy of requested count and part numbers requested for all material received and shipped via Tech's major carriers, continually thinking of best shipping methods to meet the customers' timelines while reducing waste or extra shipping costs, distributing product throughout Tech's complex as needed, and complying with and strictly adhering to company safety guidelines and/or company safety policies in performing assigned job duties.
