Position Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for executing a variety of imaging procedures in alignment with the established standards and practices of the radiologic technology profession.
Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Director of Radiology.
FLSA Status:
Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is mandatory.
Required Skills:
The role demands strong critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to operate with minimal supervision. The candidate must thrive in a high-pressure environment and respond appropriately to challenges.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography is required upon hire.
Licenses:
- A valid Arizona Department of Health Services - CRT license is required at the time of hire.
