Schedule: Sunday-Sunday/ 8 AM - 8 AM
Salary: $220.00 per day
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and professional caregiver to provide high-quality care for a 69-year-old male in a private pay setting. This role requires attention to detail, a compassionate approach to care, and the ability to work independently.
ResponsibilitiesCompanion and Homemaking Services- Provide companionship and social interaction to enhance the client's quality of life
- Assist with meal preparation, clean up, and light housekeeping duties
- Assist with grocery shopping and general shopping tasks
- Provide errand services and assist with transportation
- Remind the client to take medication and assist with medical appointments
- Provide respite care for a minimum of two weeks
- Monitor the client's safety and provide supervision as needed
- Assist with clothing selection and clothes shopping
- Accompany the client on social outings and recreational activities
- Retrieve mail and perform other tasks as needed
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide incontinence care and assist with lifting and transferring
- Supervise the client with walking, transferring, and positioning
- A minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience
- Certification as a CNA, HHA, or PCT
- Proof of residency and ability to pass a PA/FBI background check
- Score an 80% or higher on the Caregiver Competency Exam
- Knowledge of CPAP and catheter maintenance is preferred
- Ability to work consecutive or non-consecutive nights as needed
