Qualifications Required

  • A Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited institution.
  • Active Illinois licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • A minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in primary care or a related specialty is preferred.
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is essential.
