Job OverviewTin Shop is seeking an experienced Culinary Expert to join their team.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to lift 30+ lbs and work standing for 8+ hours.

The estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  2. Evaluate the freshness of food and ingredients by checking quality, tracking old and new items, and rotating stock.
  3. Maintain proper temperature control by regulating oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures.
  4. Cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
  5. Ensure even cooking by turning or stirring foods.
  6. Address guest feedback with urgency and professionalism.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a restaurant cook is preferred.
  • ServeSafe or Food Handlers certification (or willingness to attain).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
  • Ability to work standing for 8+ hours.
