Job Overview

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a team environment and providing excellent customer service. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and are responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness in guest areas
  • Providing friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests
  • Maintaining awareness of current promotions
  • Explaining menu items, answering questions, and suggesting additional items
  • Representing the Zaxby's brand with enthusiasm
  • Accurately completing orders and guest transactions
  • Entering guest orders accurately into the point of sale system
  • Handling cash payments, counting and verifying tills, and recording totals appropriately
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming environment
Requirements
  • Must be 16 years of age or older on the hire date
  • Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Physical capabilities: sitting, standing, walking continuously; occasionally stooping, bending, crouching, or climbing; frequently lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds
Work Environment

Applicants will also be expected to work on their feet for several hours at a time, which may require working outside for several hours at a time.

Estimated Salary Range:

$8.00 - $10.00 per hour based on location and experience
