About the Role:

At Complete Care at Laurelton, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietary Cook to join our team. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met while promoting a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and quality standards.
  • Operate cooking equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and implement special events and menus.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Positive and energetic individual with creativity and a passion for food preparation.
  • Serve Safe Certified (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • 3 years' experience as a cook in a nursing and rehabilitation facility (preferred).
