Our Buying Offices, situated in key fashion districts, are integral to our operations. Our merchandising team diligently seeks out the best brands and latest trends to deliver exceptional value to our customers. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on the excitement of securing great deals and are eager to advance their careers.

The Merchandising Associate II position enhances your understanding of the merchandising business, preparing you for future buying roles. We invest in your growth through structured training and mentorship with experienced Buyers. This position supports Buyers in managing merchandising systems and overseeing essential processes. You will deepen your knowledge of the off-price retail sector through regular vendor interactions and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities...

* Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors through regular meetings and discussions about market trends, enhancing your rapport-building skills.

* Master our reporting processes to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to Buyers. Manage merchandising systems and demonstrate an understanding of warehouse operations.

* Execute operational tasks to support designated Buyers, including managing purchase orders and processing markdowns for timely shipment deliveries.

* Provide ongoing analysis of key business issues and make informed recommendations to Buyers, utilizing retail math for stock and ad hoc analyses.

* Share product knowledge with Buyers through competitive shopping and market research, while proactively seeking new resources and innovative sourcing methods.

* Learn to manage the Open-to-Buy and apply key reporting metrics to understand spending speed and inventory strategies.
