About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a reputable financial institution and make a meaningful contribution to the lives of our clients. As a Trust Officer and Internal Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for managing fiduciary accounts, providing guidance on complex trust structures and estate planning strategies, and serving as a primary advisor for trust and fiduciary accounts.

You will also be responsible for coordinating with outside legal, tax, and financial professionals, serving in a fiduciary role, and ensuring department actions adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree with an active license to practice law in the State of Iowa
  • Strong working knowledge of probate, trust, tax, investments, and estate planning
  • Experience in business development is a plus

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
